I should quit
just give it all up
after all no one
likes a drunk;
too loud laughter
uncensored dreams
anything seems possible
with the haze of a drink

I should quit
throw in the towel
after all no one
likes a teetotaler around
their straight orange juice
gives too much clarity
to everyone’s sad hilarity

I mean its sad
watching you try to
be someone you’re not
someone who matters
bigger than life…
of the party..
Its tiresome and
dull

Big man with your
big voice in a
fat face
part of the regular
rat race
With a wife who stays
despite your strays
because shes too tired
to try

I should just quit
stay in with
Netflix and Chill
social circles of
“fame”
so tiresome
so lame

What’s art anyways
but interpreted bullshit
made up
thought up
from a crazy mind
helping other crazy minds
stay,
well,
